International Children's Day event

We at SARD had the privilege of hosting an International Children's Day event in the community of Alsalama. The event was filled with so much joy, laughter, and creativity as 178 children participated in singing, dancing, acting and a variety of children's activities.

As we watched the children express themselves freely through art, music, and dance, it was clear that this day was about much more than just fun and games. It was about giving children a platform to showcase their talents and abilities, to feel valued and heard, and to have their rights recognized and protected.

The theme for this year's International Children's Day was "Every Child, Everywhere, Everyday", and this couldn't have been more fitting. We wanted to ensure that every child in the community had the opportunity to celebrate, and that's exactly what happened. The event brought together children from different backgrounds, allowing them to connect and build new relationships with one another.

Throughout the day, we were amazed by the children's energy and enthusiasm. They threw themselves into each activity with gusto, laughing, singing, and dancing together. Their creativity and imagination were on full display, and it was truly inspiring to see the next generation of leaders and changemakers in action.

At SARD, we believe that every child deserves the right to a safe and secure childhood. This event was an opportunity for us to show our commitment to these values, and to remind the world that children are not just the future, but they are the present, and their voices and rights must be respected and protected.

We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who made this event possible, including the children, their families, and the community of Alsalama. We hope that this day will be remembered as a special moment in the lives of all those who participated and that it will inspire more children to be involved in similar initiatives in the future.
