Community Development

We prioritize projects that create a lasting impact on the well-being of communities. They are carefully designed to address systemic challenges, foster sustainable solutions, and empower communities to drive their own positive transformation. Our initiatives encompass a wide range, from the rehabilitation of schools, markets, and sewage systems to comprehensive livelihood and social cohesion initiatives. These endeavors are not mere interventions; they are community-scale development projects, driven and guided by the active participation of the communities themselves.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene

Inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene leave communities at risk of a health crisis. Whether networks are damaged, in disrepair due to years of neglect, or completely destroyed, SARD rehabilitates water and sewage networks to provide safe and clean water and sanitation for entire communities.

Community Infrastructure

SARD rehabilitates schools, parks, markets, and transport infrastructures in order to invest in the local community and economy. In 2019, SARD rehabilitated 16 public infrastructures in 12 communities benefiting a population of 33,075 individuals.
