We strive to address the needs of vulnerable persons equitably and effectively, and to ensure acceptance in host communities by closely
coordinating our response with other humanitarian stakeholders, including

Partnerships:
At SARD, we believe that
partnerships are critical to solving the complex and multifaceted challenges
that face Syrians today. Our incredible partners – from foundations to
individuals – are committed to community-driven and people-focused initiatives
in Syria. Our partners join us in different capacities, whether that be to fund our critical work or implement projects on the ground with us.
Coordination:
When emergencies occur coordination is necessary. Clusters are groups of humanitarian organizations, both UN and non-UN, in each of the main sectors of humanitarian action, with clear responsibilities.
SARD is an active member of the SNFI, Protection, CCCM, FSL, WASH and ERL clusters and of the CWG. This ensures that SARD’S actions and proposals are in line with cluster guidelines and priorities, fall under the USAID/BHA guidelines, and harmonized with other programming happening in the same areas. SARD’s coordination with clusters and local-stakeholders ensures coverage is guaranteed and overlap does not occur.
