Manuela DeGaspari is SARD’s Protection Expert, a member of the Senior Management Team, and a passionate child advocate with extensive experience in humanitarian response and child rights. A long-time consultant and former staff member at Save the Children, she has also worked with UNICEF, War Child, NRC, Médecins du Monde, among others. Manuela specializes in child protection analysis and advocacy, and has designed methodologies for evaluating child rights implementation and training local teams in participation and data collection. An Italian native, she has worked across West and Sub-Saharan Africa, Türkiye, Syria, Italy, and Spain. She holds a Master’s in Human Rights, Migration, International Development, and Disaster Relief Management.
